Jenny Farrugia, D.Ch. is the mother of three children, two boys and one girl. She has been a licensed Chiropodist since 1989, with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. In 1989 Jenny had the privilege of instituting a Chiropody Clinic in a Toronto Community Health Centre where she continued practicing Chiropody until 2012. From 2003 up until 2008 Jenny volunteered as a Clinical Instructor Affiliated with The Michener Institute Chiropody Program of Ontario, and since 2008 Jenny has been in private practice working to serve the residents of Newtecumseth, servicing Beeton and the surrounding areas of Tottenham, Alliston, Bradford, Newmarket, and Orangeville.


Tony Farrugia, RPA is an energetic and focused individual committed to excellence in business development and started his first company back in 1986. Since 1995 he has been using these skills as a business consultant in various corporations large and small. In 2008 together with his wife Jenny they began New Tecumseth Family Footcare where is assumes the position of office manager. Tony spent two years as a Board Member of The Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine and now focuses on in office patient care specializing in Medical Compression Stockings, Orthopaedic and General Footwear, Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO), and Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT).


Jenny has always had a keen interest in health care and caring for people in need. She has been exposed to a range of interesting cases at clinical sites including: St. Peters Hospital in Hamilton and the former Northwestern Hospital in Toronto. The combination of educational knowledge and applied experience that Jenny obtained over the years has provided her with a high degree of knowledge relating to the human foot and its various disorders. Jenny has a caring, personal approach and takes the time necessary to investigate patient concerns to determine the most effective course of treatment to meet individual needs.


Jenny and Tony both attend many seminars, conferences and lectures annually to continue updating their skill and knowledge base in areas of research and development relating to Chiropody. This allows for the latest trends and technology available in footcare to be translated back into patient care.
